Plumbsan (Pty) Ltd was properly incorporated as a trading company during July 1999 and started trading during August of the same year. The Managing Director, Thinus van Niekerk, is at all times ably assisted by a board of directors consisting of four executive directors, including himself. Between them they have an extensive background in retailing, gained in part from a combined total of fifty years experience in the plumbing and sanitary ware retail market. Plumbsan stock high quality plumbing requisites and sanitary ware supplied by local and international plumbing manufacturers. The company consists of the following divisions namely sales, buying and inventory, operations and an administration division. There are four counter salesmen, which control the sales at the counter as well as the showroom. One person is responsible for the developer / contracting market for corporate sales. The senior buyer of the company is also a director and is in charge of the total stock purchases and control of the company.
